The team, sponsored by Dundas-Centre Guardian Drugs and Pollett's Trade Bindery, bas five wins, two losses and a fie. On June 10, the teain travelled te Markhaxn to play its cross-division rivaIs. Wolverines domidnated play throughout and teok the lead at the 23rd minute of the first half on a goal by Kevin Taylor. Dale Chung found the back of the Markham net just before the half was out. The match ended in a 2-2 draw. On June 24, Wolverines met East York before a two-week break i n the schedule. The Whitby side came up with a lacklustre performance, quickly falling behind 1-0. Barrera came through with a long lofted baIl that grazed an East York defender and found the mark. The Wolverines got off to a very slow start but Chung put Whitby in the lead 10 minutes into the gaine. Islington evened the scoring eight minutes later and continued te dominate the gaine. Whitby finally got on track with Graham MacLean finding the back of the Islington net in the 3lst minute. Dion Warren added another Whitby goal just before the haîf was out.
