Owen Sound was the first opponent of the day and it took 12 seconds to get on the scoreboard. It wvas a sign of things to corne as Whitby rolled to an easy 21-0 rout. Brandon McBr-ide led the assault wvith a 12-point effort and Kyle Schroer had the shutout. A strong team [rom Arthur wvas a better test for Whitby in gaine 2 and a solid tean ilefort resulted in an 8-4 victory. The win sent Whitby to the A final and Guelph provided the opposition. Whitby came out strong and easily won the game 11-0 with lots of passing and strong deflence. Scoring 40 goals and only having four goals against left the coaching staIr satisfied. Leading the scorers for the tournarnent were McBiide with 21 points, Jamie Barton and Allan Watson 10 each, Josh Turcotte nine, Tyler Harrison eight, Jimmy Munîford and Mike Kubrynski seven, Justin Potter five, Tommy Solomon and Nick Verkuyl four each, Ryan McMichael, Dane Silverthorn and Nathan Cotter three each, Trevor Watters two and Andrew Greenen one. The tearn's next tournament will be in Guelph on June 18 when they open against Brampton.
