Austin Secondary School, Whitby. Produced and directed by Bert Heaver, well-known in theatre activities in Durham Region, the show has been put together as a fundraiser for the Whitby General Hospital building extension. 'Sounds of Spring' is a liveiy mixture of songs that appeal to ail ages, comedy, a variety of dance numbers and, for good measure, some audience participation -- for peeple who lovej te sing along with the performers, and some good, oid-fashioned hand-clapping as extra accompanument.
