Thomeon will perform Beethoven'e Piano Concerte No. 4 in G Mgjor, Op. 58. Composed in 1805-1806, the concerto je replete with technical challenges for the soloist. Beethoven, who after ail wrote it for its own use, has compoeed it in such a manner that it seems te avoid mere display. Lyrical, reflective and untroubled in demeanour, it is an exceptioeial work for its time.
