Messiah at Colege Park Church, 1164 King St. E. in Oshawa. Sponsored by Eaton's, the concert wiIl feature the Gallery - Choir of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, four outstanding soloists - Cristen Gregory, soprano, Gsee Fredette, mezzo-soprano, Guillermo Silva- * Marin, tenor, and Bruce Kelly, * baritone, and the« Oshawa Syxnphony Orchestra conducted by Winston Webber. The Gallery Choir of the * Church of St. Mary Magdalene, directed by Robert Hunter Bell, sings Solemn High Mass every Sunday from September to July at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Toronto. .The choir also sings several weekday masses throughout the year, as well as presenting concerts and making guest appearances. Ail memnbers of the choir sing on a volunteer basis. They have welcomed seven new singers since September, and the .5-voice women's barbership chorus, hopes to attract another r410 members before Christmas. Director LeBley Lepine invites all women with an interest in siEnging and performing to attend a rehearsal and sSe what Eastside Harmony chorus bas ta offer. Previous experience je not required and the chorus has set up a six-week traimng program for new members. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at 1955 Va]ley Farm Rd., Pickering.
