The 2tb annual tournament will feature 16 of the best teams, with some of the best youth talent, in Ontario. Teame from Quebec and the U.S. have previously played in the tournament. 'This OBA-sanctioned tourna- ment is one of the top three înidget tournaments in the p rovince," says Jim Lutton of shaw, pst resident of the Ontario Basebal Association. On a suggestion by Gord Hanna, the tournamnent began in 1971. Dr. Neil Murkar booked, after treasury duties and Lutton handled registration and chair- mnan duties as Whitby and Osh- awa basebaîl associations joined forces to organize the event.
