Soccer camps areC premielr The Premiler Soccer Acadenxy summer soccer camps are once again proving to be a very popular activity for the yoéung soccer players from Whitby. Premier's head coach Duncan Wilde is very enthusiastic about, the response so far' for programmes being held at Peel Park in the surnmer. Following last yearls camp Whitby Iroquois soccer club have invited Premier Soccer ta hast two camps on their behalf in 1991 the first being held the week of July 8 - 12, and the second bei ng hosted the week of July 29 - August 2. The focus of this year's camps will be Premier Soccer'sjunior player development scheme wbich has been structured ta accommodate the young beginner rookiesý, house league, select and rep players alike ail together on th same site each week. The players attending the camp wiil be receiving instruction from British professional players and coaches who have a wide experience of coacbing junior players. They will help enhance their team play performance without overexerting them during the week. The goal keeping school being co-ordinated by David Felgate (current international goal keeper) is proving immens ely popular but their stili. is a few places remaining.
