Derek Jones scored three goals with Matt Shearer, Kevin Hayes, Steve Dyment, Greg VanSickle, Kevin Sorhaitz, Todd Wilson, Rich Dyment and Dan McComb scoring singles. In the first matchup, Greg VanSickle led the way scoring five goais and adding two assists in a 15-6 iictory. Although it was a close affair early on, Whitby exploded, leav- ing the visiting Tomahawks te contempiate a 0-3 score in the second imtermission. Ail qualified for the event with tep five finishes at the Ontario competition held recently in Toronto. Whitby members of the club who qualified, are Shayne Bay- ford, who his previously won several provincial and Canadian titles Heather Schuyler, Rebecca Woodouse, Paulina Malandrino, Amy and Sara Hepburn and Jerry Hood.
