She was born on October 31, 1900, ini Zephyr, Ont., daughter of Peter Copeland and Ophelia Travis Cope=ad. A Whitby resident for 40 years, she was a member of St. Mark's United Church in Whitby and the Canadian Women's Institute. She is survived by son Clifford (and his wife Viola), son Fred (and his wife Adath) and daughter Evelyn, 13 grandchil- dren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by ber husband Fred. Services were held' from the "Town Funeral ChaelWhitbyn Jime 15 1900.con4cted by vo. Bessie àan, St. Maris UÇnited Church. Interment at Mount Albert cemetery.
