By the time it is finshed it will be a historie stroll down memory lane to the mid-1800s. .When completed, the develop- ment project will be a street of 25 heritage homes and a 45-suite hotel complete with conferenoe and recreation rooms. Although the property, desig- nated a touriet activity area, and the proposed development fal within the guidelines of the Region's officiai plan, Whitby's officiai plIan does not alow for a hotel of that size, so it is now going through an aniendment procese.
