Delivering presents before Christmnas Day. Sonietimes the snow fails very quick. This makes it hard for poor old St. Nick. He lands on the roof tops as quiet as can be. Hutchison WHERE 15 RUDOLPH? It was a nice Christmas morning at tbe Nortbh ple Santa's sleigb *as alpacked up.* "Rise and shine!" said Old Mrs.' Clauis. "Today's the big day. Those boys and girls are counting on you." Santa slowly got up and teok a deep breath as be was stretching. He wirîked bis eyes a littie and went inte the kitchen. "Good morning Mrs. Claus," said Santa, in a kind voice. He ate bis usuai breakfast,-'put on bis thick red coat and went outside ta the stable. When be camne te, the stable be visited Dancer, Prancer, Dasher,' Donner, Blitzen, Cornet, Cupid and Vitzen. Ail except Rudolpb. Rudolph was gone! B ut then it came te Santa's mid that maybe, Mrs. Clgus teok Rudolph inside the bouse. Santa went in the bouse and asked Mrs. Clatis if she had seen or taken in Rudolph but Mrs. Claus just shrugged and said, "No." Santa was surprized at that answer. Meanwhile, far away in an old bouse on the other side of the- North Pole, lay Rudolph in a steel cold cage. "Hey Bicky, me got Ruidolp in this bear sack in the cage,' said Ha rry, one of Rudolpb's kidnappera. Back at Santa's bouse Santa, bis elves and remndeers lay worried. 'tWhat naughty person would do sucb a tbing?" Mrs. Clatis kept repeating in an angry voice. I know" said Santa. I betcha it's those dirty rotten scçundrels, Bicky and Harry. They'll do anything te, stop Christmnas," Santa said, worried. Santa went te, the stable and tok Vixen,, Cornet, Dasher, Donner and Blitzen, bis fastest reindeer and hitcbed -tbem te the sleigb. "On Dasher, on Cornet, on Vixen andý Blitzen," yeiled Santa in a rush. Back at the old but Becky and Harry were planning te ask for a ransom. The ransom was al Santa's teys, or no Rudolph. "Hey, Harry, do yoû plan on wrng that ransom note or not?" said Becky angrily, in a sbouting voice. None of the crooks knew of Santa's coming. Santa was close enough te the crooks' bideout te see everything going on. He could see Rudolph and Rudolpb could see hlm. Rudolph made no noise for the crooks te notice hlm. Dasher, one of the reindeer, went te, distract Becky and Harr by cutting the gas limes te, their snowmobiles. WVhile the crooks cbased Dasher, the rest went te get Rudolph. Once they finished untying Rudolph, they went to belp Dasher. Dasher ran toward Santa te the sleigh. They ail left- ip a hurry. The crooks, Becky and-Hariy, sat on their snowmobiles.
