The exciting finale Wo the -soccer season was the annual soccer game between teachers and students. Ai went weil except for one iujury on the teachers' side. But even so, the teachers won victoriously 3-1, aven though wea ai know they cheated. Lete' hear it for basketbal Tyouts have begun and tail people are rushing ini and out of the gym. I hope that basketball wiil be as msuasfu as soccer. Sehool rings are being debated upon, and the bazaar is nearing rapidly. Dont forget Wo bring in those articles girls! AUl the new girls are happily settled and learning ail the ropes of Trafalgar life although Miss Muihail is overloadad with detentions! This bas been quite an exciting weak at Trafalgar, especiaily for Iàsa who bas neyer seen snow bafore! Anderson C.V.I. Mary Waterman On Oct. 19 the Anderson cross country taam placed first overall at LOSSA. For the past 12 years O'Neil bas capturad the trophy but, this year our team decided Wo put that winning streak Wo an end. Congratulations runners, you deserved it! junior awards night wiil take place on Oct. 26. This annual affair is put on Wo award the grade 9s, los, lis and 12s for their bard work and achieveinents. On Oct. 27 the town of Whithy wiil be jumping as ail our graduates corne back from university and college Wo receiva their diplomnas. Welcome home, Raiders' grads! The talented students of ACV.I are busy once again with another musical. This year Andarson's actors, actraesses and musicians are perforiing 'Anne of Green Gables.' Performances wiil be held in November. Speaing of talent, the Anderson Music Association wiil soon be putting on a concert cailedl 'Auturon Leaves.' Don't miss it!. .......Denis O'Connor H.S. Tanya Trinkaus Two montbs have already gone by in this school year. By now, the routine of scbool is pumping tbrough the teachers' and, yes, aven the students' bodies. The biggest difference at Denis O'Connor Hiigh school this year is the new and improved uniform.
