He was 82. She was born on March 14, 1907, in Danville,' Quebec, daughter of Ethel (Làxon ) and Frank Monahan. She married Tom Beer on August 6, 1938. A Whitby resi- dent for 40 years, she was a schoolteacher. She was a mem- ber of Whitby Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge. Mrs. Beer is survived by her husband, son William and daughter Nancy, and grandchil- dren Leianne and Wesley John- ston and Bradley and Angela pBeer. The funeral was held from the W.C. A resident of Whitby since 1936, Mr. MacKay was an emrployee of Whitby Psychiatric Hospital for 28 years before retiring. He married Maureen Sylvia Fear- naîl on June 23, 1979. A Whitby resident for five years, Mr. Wil- der was a life underwriter. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church and a coach in the Whitby Minor Basebaîl Associa- tion.
