K Court date- postponed- A Toronto mnan charged with the assault of a 16-year-old Whiby girl was uinable to appear intby povncal court last Frdybcause he had been in a car accident. Court was told that Christo- pher Oral Campbell, 18, was in Sunnybrook Medical Centre due to injuries received in the acci- dent. He was to'be discharged sometinie this week. He will appear in court July 14 to set a date for bis trial. Camnpbell was arrested after a 16-year-old pirl told Durham Regilonal Police she had been assaulted in a Whitby park last Sep tmeber. Then in April this year, the girl told police the man called. her and said he would show pictures of the assault to the girl's parents if she did not meet him.
