Whitby Optimist Wrestling Club members had four second- place finishes in the Ontario championships for kids, bantam and cadet wrestlers at Humber College on Sunday. Second for cadets (Gr. 9 and 10) were Brian Young, a Gr. 9 student at Harwood, in the 60kg class, and Peter Ka]nay, a Gr. il student at Henry Street High School, in the 75kg class. Matthew MacCarli, Gr. 5 stu- dent at Leslie McFarÏane public school, was second in the 32kg class for kids (Gr. 6 and under) while James' Gregorcic, Gr. 7 student at Leslie McFarlane, was second in the bantam (Gr. 7i and 8) clasa. Optimist coach AI Smith was pleased with the performance by bis team of 15 wrestlers, ail with finishes of seventh or better. "I have a real young team" says Smith.
