A public works department report shows that the transit system generated $98,655 in 1986 and $114,575 in 1987. The three purposes of the study area are as follows: (i) to prepare design concepts for Harbour Development Areas 1, 2 and 3; (ii) to prepare a master concept plan for the planned open space surrounding the Whitby Harbour and along the lake shore area between the Harbour mouth and Heydenshore Pavillon; (iii) to prepare a concept plan for the future administrative, service, commercial and storage facilities required to serve the Port Whitby Marina. The purpose of this public meeting is to present'a final master plan, to the general public. This is the third and final public meeting of the study process. Subsequently, it is anticipated that Town Staff will submit a recommendation report to Council, once the master plan has'been fully evaluated.
