The spring, which absorbs up to half the im- pact of sleeping bodies, is de- signcd to match. Waterbeds -- or flotation sys- tems -- uscd to' be simple water- filled bladders. But now they corne in fuil flotation, reduced motion or motionless, depending upon the number and type of baf- fles inside. The more baffles, the firmer the mattress will be. Foam mattresses can also bc very comfortable and corne in a range of flhmness and prices. The denser the foamn, the more sup- port the mattress will provide and the more durable it will be.
