Ail four Anderson teams won their divisions against Dwyer in the Anderson - Dwyer meet. Donna Petri led the junior girls' team to victory with a first-place finish. Sylvia Watson and Jennifer Brown also- had strong runs finishing second and third respec- tively. Dave Hunter finished first ahead of teammates Jason Gurd, second, and Lees Kosloff, third, giving the junior boys a first-place finish. In senior boys Colin Lacy placed second and Dave Carrol finished third. Senior girls captured first with a winning performance by Krissie Marshall, and a second-place finish Reg ion to decide on environmieft program by Michelle Watson and Stacy Madge, third. Anderson also finished excep- tionally well in the Trinity meet in Port Hope. -The junior girls placed third overaîl led by a fine run by Petri who was fourth out of more than 100 other competitors. ,Other fine runs by junior girls were made by Joanne Hood, llth and Sylvia Watson, lSth. The junior boys also placed third with strong runs from Hunter, lOth, Gurd, llth, and Trevor Demeris, 25th. Performances from ahl runners gave the boys' senior team a fourth- place finish. Anderson continued to display their potential in the Ajax-Harwood meet. In the open girls' division Petri once again finished first with a strong run. Hood took second place and Sylvia Watson finished fourth ,with Marshall finishing in the th position. The midget boys did excep- tionally wetl taking third as a team.- The junior boys placed fourth overaîl with Gurd placing fourth .ACVI's senior team captured their division with strong runs from Shawn Pope, sixth; Steve Wing, seventh; Sanjay Singh, eighth; and Dave Carol I8th. "Junior boys and junior girls are very strong and the senior boys as well," says coach Barb Dillon. Dillon hopes for strong finishes in upcoming meets including LOSSA, which is Oct. 22. But here most of the players are both.- As for a career in the National Hockey League, Donaldson is stili undecided.
