Kelly Kime managed a sixth- place finish nationally, placing first in running and in cross-country riding, fifth in shooting, and ninti' in swimming at the three-da3 event. Althougb Kime expected bis low swimming score to drop him in the final placing, he received a disappointingly low shooting score whicb left him only 100 points out of third place. This was a repeat performance of bis last year at the national level where he placed sixth as well. Next year, be will advance to the senior level, and bas ambitions to compete internationally someday, althougb he adniits most of bis interest lies in the riding category. Bobby Lehman placed tentb overaîl for ber first year of com- petition in tbe senior girls division. Her sbooting and running scores earned ber botb a first and sixtb- place finish respectively. Lehman's point total helped to bring the cen- tral Ontario girls' team to third place overaîl. Kime, a member of the third- place Central Ontario junior boys' team, was sponsored by tbe Wbitby office of Century 21 Gold Jacket Real Estate. Tbe two riders, both members of the Durham Pony Club, were coached' under Bernie Butler, Monica Taylor, Terry Evanshen, and Benson and Fay Lehman.
