Seniors wanted for moonwalk Whitby senior citizens are being asked to join in the "Elderobic Moonwalk" in Whitby Tuesday, June 2, starting at 10 a.m. The walk, held at centres across Canada, recognizes national Physical Activity Week. The Whit- by Seniors' Activity Centre fun and fitness class, led by Ivy Hutchin- son, is inviting ahi Whitby seniors for the walk from the centre to downtown and back. Last year, Whitby seniors walked 577 miles (total of individual par- ticipants) toward the combined total of 476,000 miles, the distance to the moon and back. The goal is 600 miles in this year's Whitby Moonwalk.
