They raise money through a ride-a-thon and this year able- bodied riders rode 25 krns. raising $6,000. "The fees and the money raised covers our Insurance and most of our costs,"1 said Pudliener. year, the associatlon's insurance will increase thls year. Pudliener said in- surance will triple ln price for the association in 1987. "But we wouldn't ride withoutit,"she said. >This year, for the first time, the riding will be stopped over the winter months. It will start back upin March. The 20 riders who regularly go horseback riding range in age from 2 to 22 and there is always a waiting list. However the association cannot in- crease the number of riders until they have more volunteers.
