The ganse started out with Donevan taking a lead of 9-O but Bob Linkater of the Hawks jumped beck to score a touchdown and with help from Bart Slichter the Ha wks forced the aame into double-* overtirne. Unfor. tunatly Donevan poured it on in overtinse to win byea final score of 24-9 to go on to the final. The Hawks finished with a season/playoffs combined record of five wins and four lasses.
