Whitbiy Historic gardens restoration to be subject of meeting The Durham branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario is holding a special meeting on the planning of historic gardens in the auditorium of the Whitby Library on Friday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. The speaker will be Mrs' Jean Harding who bas acted as a con- sultant in gai-dens restoration for numerous historic sites in Ontario. She is active in the Ontario Historical Society and has served with tbem as a workshop leader and resource person. She is on the executive of the North York Historical Board and she is also a member of the Guild of Colour Photography of Toronto. Her presen- tation will ha ilustrated by some of ber slides.
