Wood Secondar School in Port Credit is celebrate it's 56 years of educational excellence a reunion has been planned. Any former students, staff, friends and anyone who has been associated with or had any interest in the school since its begin- ning in 1930 are invited. The reunion will be held on April 25 and 26. SPRING GALA 86 The Oshawa Sym- phony Association will be hosting a fund raising event entitled 'Spring Gala 86' on Friday, March 21 at Trafalgar Castle in Whitby. The evening will in- clude dining and dan- cing, and will feature a special performance by classic guitarist, Lions Boyd, accompanied by members of the Oshawa Symphony Orchestra. NATURALISTS' MEETING Durham Region Field Naturalists will hold their monthly meeting Monday, March 24 at 8 p.m. in the MeLaughlin Library, 65 Bagot St., Oshawa. DUTCH CANADIAN DANCE The Dutch Canadian Club of Durham Region will hold its Spring dan- ce Saturday, March 22 in the Bobby Orr Lounge of the Civic Auditorium in Oshawa. WHITBY BRASS CONCERT' The Whitby Brass Band will be giving a free Bon Voyage con- cert March 20 to mark their upcomning depar- ture in April for In- dianapolis where they are entered in the North American Brass Band Championships. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Heydenshore Paviilon. LAMB AWARENESS DAY The Durham Sheep Producers will once again be holding Lamb Awareness Day Satur- day, April 5 in the Bowmanville Lions Cen- tre. Beginning at noon there will be a number of events including cooking demnonstrations and free samples, lamb carcass cutting with ticket draws on the dif- ferent cuts, spinning and weaving and knit- ting demonstrations, wool dispîsys and sheep shcaring. There will also be lamburgers on sale and live lambs will be exhibited. Tickets for the lamb dinner and dance to follow are $1250 each and may be obtained by caling 655-486. HOCKEY MOTHERS' MEETING The Brooklin-Whitby Minor Hockey Women's Auxiliary will be holding a meeting to elect officers for 1986-87 on Tuesday, March 25 beginning at 8 p.m. in committee room 2 of the Whitby Municipal Building.
