PETER PERRY AWARD Time la running out for the Peter Perry Award nominations. The award, sponsored by the Whitby Chamber of Commerce, acknowledges the achievexTents of an out- standing community volunteer, Although usually presented to an individual who has exhibited an exceptional and on-going commit- tment to volunteer work in Whitby it might also be presented to a family or couple who have shown the same com- mittment and have sup- ported each other's ef- forts. It can also be awarded pothumously. The award night will be Jan. 17 and al nominations must be in to the Chamber of Commerce no later than Friday, Jan. 3.
