Joe Nieuwendyk of Whitby, scored two goals and added one assist in the Cornell University Big Red's 7-6 overtime victory again- st St. Lawrence last Saturday, in a home garne at Lynah Rink. Both goals were on power, play oppor- tunities, giving the sophomore center a teamn-high three power play goals in five gaines. Nieuwendyk found the net at the 6:59 mark of the first period then added his second tally with 19:29 expired in the second period. Nieuwendyk has three goals and two assists on the season, ranking hlm second in points. Corneli is 3-1-1- this season and plays Toronto at home Saturday. Joe is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gord Nieuwendyk, and is majoring in business. He is a graduate of Henry Street High School. Coaches needed Lacrosse, the fastest game on two feet, needs your help.
