Bryan was one of many cbildren brougbt by parents to be fingerprinted and photographed at the school iast Saturday in the first Kd Check Program sponsored by the chapter. Parents were given an envelope with spaces for other vital statistics about their child, as weil as the fingerprint and photo space which ChiId Find took care of. Then they were advised to keep it In a safety deposit box. Co-chairman Marilynne Maclnnis, the mother of a 20-month-old, said the group was charglng $2 for the service for the first two children, and $1 for each child beyond that to cover costs. Maclnnis told the parents, 'Fingerprints neyer change; you only have to have it done once. You should update the photos each year, and update the beiglit and weight and any new information." Child Find lias regular meetings each month which are announced in the newspaper. Maclnnish said they need volunteers to help with office work, fundraising, a streetproofing program soon to start, publicity, and more kid check programs.
