After 17 games, the Minto Cup champions have a 15 and 2 record giving them 30 points af- ter scoring 297 goals while allowing only 136 to be scored against them. Whitby is only two points ahead of St. Catherines who after 17 games are boasting a 14- 3 record.' Holding down l2th spot in the league scoring titie race is Ross Tabor who after 15 ap- poarances has earned 61 points on 25 goals and 36 assîsts. Whitby split its last two games, losing to Peterborough 16-9 onn June 26. However, they handed Bay Area a 17-3 loss the following day. The Warriors next game is tonight when they take on Bay Area at 8 p.m. at the Iroquois Park Arena. They travel to Etobicoke Sunday night before returning home next Wednesday to host Brampton. Meanwhile, the Brooklin Redmen have sole possession Of second spot in the O.L.A.'s major junior 'A' division and are onîy two points behind first place Peterborough. After 12 games, the Redmen have 10 and 2 record for 20 points. To date, they have scored 197 goals and allowed only 104 to be scored against them. In the divisional dan finda himself in fifth place.
