The Minto Cup cham- pions have won 14 of their last 15 games to a total of 28 pointa. Second place St. Catherines bas played 16 games with only 13 wins for 26 poin- ta. To date this season, Whitby bas scored 271 goals'* while allowxng only 117. Their hold on first place was solidified with two recent wins. On June 19, Whitby over- whelmed Etobicoke 28- 2, following it up two days later with a 16-3 triumph over Bram- pton. The Warriors are also boasting two of the top il scorers in their O.L.A. division. Barry Kent bas scored 25 goals and contributed 35 assista for 60 pointa in the 14 games he bas played. Fe rs Staff Photo Dazzlers own a perfect record The Whitby-Durham Dazzlers were currentiy enjoying a l-game winning streak after downing Pickering Village 3-0 in local ladies' soccer action last week. The first haif was scoreless but not without ita exciting momenta. The Dazzlers out shot Pickering but the bail always seemed to strike the crossbar or cornerposta - it couldn't find the net. However, ten minutes into the second haîf, Kris Krawchuk scored and the Dazzlers neyer looked hack. Lynn Tressier scored a few minutes later on a short pass from Sue Brown. The Pickering netmin- der had no chance at ail. Krawchuk added ber second goal a short time ensurîng the win.
