The first game Whitby tied Pickering 2-2 and then lost the second game ta Pickering 3-0. Game three again ended in a tie 3-3. Whitby was now in trouble as Pickering led the six point series four points ta two. Game four the Whitby boys were on a high and thumped Pickering 7-1. Game five in Pickering saw the Brooklin Whitby team corne out six point series and Whitby put themselves behind the eight bahl by losing the first two games 6-4 and 5-3.* Whitby then regrouped and came out in game three hustling. Whitby beat BellevilleO6- 4. Game four Whitby dnwn 3-1 the end of the second, however, the boys turned it around and the final of that game was 11-4 Whitby. Game five in Belleville was Whitby's Again, the series was ta be six points. The Whitby team was con- cerned as Welland had beaten them earlier in the season. However, it was becoming obviaus that the Whitby boys wouldn't be stopped as they took Welland three straight 6-3, 5-4 and 8-0. Whitby was now in the AIl Ontario final for the second year in a raw. Last year the boys lost out ta Stratford. This would not be the case Part Huron Michigan in January ta win the In- ternational "AA" Silver Stick.
