PAGE 14. WEDNESDAY. DECEMBER 12. 1984. WHITBY FREE PRESS A.C.V. I. holds one act play festival On Tuesday, Nov. 27, Anderson held the second annual Original Five-Minute One Act Play Festival. In this eve nt, taiented Ander- sonians took the oppor- tunity to write and per- form their own piays, and they produced some impressive performan- ces. The participants in the Festival felt excited, nervous, and proud, and they had fun. For example, Andrea Adair, writes about "I Hope There Is Laughter In Heaven", but was just as nervous as any actor. She thought that doing the plays was a worthwhiie function at the school. Paul Law, who played the lead in the musical "Fabian and Kiki", also enjoyed himseif. 44I thought it was great!1" he exciaimed. He feit nervous on stage at fir- st, but he soon relaxed. Despite ail the hard work of ail those direc. tly under the spotlight, the show would neyer have been a success without the support and dedication of the people behind the scenes. The teacher behind the whoie production was Len Kosurko. Last year he inspired the event, and he assumned full responsibility for it again this year. His energy and high spirits were the momen- tum that kept, and hopefully will continue to keep, this annual event rolling. Kosurko was heiped by the two stage managers, who helped keep things running smoothly. Credit also goes to the sound and iight crew, for a job well done. The people on stage and behind the scenes ail worked hard together to produce another successful Original Five-Minute One Act Play Festival, and they have ieft us looking forward to next year's show.
