WHITBY TIGERS RUNNING CLUB Whitby Tigers 83 Runner Club will hold their an- nual Christmas dinner and dance at Iroquois Park, Whitney Hall, on Friday, Dec. 21 fromn 7:30 p.m. toi a.m. For dancers only the evening will begin at 9 p.m. Dinner and dance, $10 a person, dance only $5 a person. HAWAII BOUND Whitby Tigers Running Club president, Ian Barron, has entered the Dec. 9 Hawaii Marathon. This will be the fifth marathon in the last five mon- ths in which Ian has entered. Al of the Whitby Tigers Running Club members and residents of the town especially wish him luck to achieve his goals and personal best of under three hours. CONGRATULATIONS BEV AND DON Bey and Don Rogers have been jointly awarded the 'Business Person of the Year'. We, in the Corridor area, congratulate the Rogers' for their outstanding contribution to the Town of Whitby and to the many organizations within the town. Don and Bey own and operate 'Signet Signs' on Thickson Rd. S., and have, on many occassions donated their ser- vices and backing to numerous groupa, individuals, and organizations. FAIRVIEW BAZAAIR Fairview Lodge, Dundas and Cochrane St. in Whitby, will hold their annual Christmas Bazaar on Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. Their will be a large variety of handmade items, crafts and childrens toys for sale.
