The Atom No. 2 teamn Iost to Pickering 3-5. Scoring for Whitby was Alasdair Syme, Geoff Covan' and Jord John- ston. The County Bowi Peewee No. 2 team lost a close one to Thornhill 2-1. The Whitby marker came from Mark Woit- zik and good goalten- ding kept the resuit fromn being worse. The Bantam No. 2 team iost to Port Perry 3-2. Whitby goals by Steve Wing and Bilan Shelfoon. 1 The hideaway novice squad lost to Peter- borough 4-2. Wayne Primeau scored- both goals. The Checkers Variety minor atoms lost to the Don Mils, Flyers 5-1. Lone Whitby marker by Mark Babony. They also lost to Markham 4-1 with Whitby's goal commng from Brian Medeiros. However, they managed a 4-ail tie with Ajax. Scoring were Kiley Moulton, Scott -MacDonnell (2), and Jamie Allison. The Whitby Optimist Bantam squad over- powered Ajax 12-3 with goals coming from Troy McKay (2), Frank Corrick (2), Mike Reier (2), Craig Fisher (2), Justin Moore, Joshua Forter, Mike MacKay, and Derek Dalbey. The Lawmen narrowiy defeated Nor- th York iast Friday night at Iroquois Park 11-10. Leading the offense for the local squad was Rob MacInnis who scored four goals whiie- contributing three assists. Alain Raymond and Darren Whiteside scored a pair each whiie Jeff Isies, who had just been brought up fromn the minor midget .eague, scored his first goal of the season.
