Until recently, children moving from elementary to secon- dary school were required by the board to provide a medical cer- tificate to the school. Now, however, medical certificates are no longer required for students entering grade nine. The board made the change last June on the advice of the medical profession. Frog jumper Part of the fun at this Sunday's Bicentennial Jamboree ta be held by the Whitby Chamber of Commerce at Heydenshore Pavillon will be a frog jumping contest. Here, Luke Frise, 4, ýsofl of chamber president Don Frise is showing off the frogs that he will enter in the race. Frise said that the race is open to anyone who has their own frog. The lectures cover hardware, sof- tware, BASIC progammné, word processing, data base management and 'housekeeping' routines such as disk copying.
