Whitby got off to a slow start in the first haîf but managed to score a goal by Shane Bevan on a pass from Sean Heaney. Down 1-O, Peter- borough turned on the pressure and finally connected with five minutes left in the haif. In the- second haif, Whitby again got off to a slow start but the back- field managed to turn away Peterborough's More sports on page 14 attack.
