Between You and Me ByRUTHCOLES Pure water Are you sure that your drinklng water is healthful, and safe? A topie we have neyer worried about as our water lias always tes ted safe and sound. Our water cornes from a wêll without any additives. Over the past few years I bave written about WyeConrad who owns Environmnental Elec- rnlsin Whltby. Wayne and bis family are very spécial friends of ours and our respect for Wayne's knowledge knows no bounds. Even thougli my husband understends every word it often is beyond me and leaves me far behlnd. However, I arn learnlng. The book "The Ion Effect" which la bard to find aroused my curiosity about ions and I feittr ust learn more. Miracle of miracles at this time Wayne came into our lives and the answers were there. Anything we want to know about ions, Wayne can answer. We wii not go into, bis background again other then to say and repeat that at 16, Wayne was invited to jomn the most prestigeous group in the world, Electrostatic Society of America With members from ail over the world from the scientif field. Wayne was the youngest member ever to be invited to join the group and still at 20, remains the youngest. One aspect of this is that Wayne is privy to infor- mation from other members at anytime and is able to consult members; while at 'times they are together at international meets. We have four- ionizers at the time hlot for health reasons as many people do because they are very effective, but because we feel they are very wonder- ful things to have. For some reason we bave lots of dust and lots to dust. A very time consuming and duli occupation. The dust la really diminshed by the, idonlzes mcltÃ"m y deliglit. The plants tbrive and grow with great abandon.1 Smoke is taken out of the air so smokers know their smoking will flot bother others. Until you ilve with an ionlzer you do not realize how very stale air cen be. We expect to be very pleased -wlth two more products of Wayne's which we hope to have by the weekend. One la an Orlon Ozonetion Water Purifier. We bave neyer felt the need for" one but now after recelvlng ail the Information fromn Wayne about other purifers based on tests by the EPA and the American Water Works Association Ine. we are waiting wîth great eegei'ness for ours. Last evening was test niglit. Wayne brought a purifier and we tried it out. The difference in the water was amazing. My first reaction was one of coolness, very mucli cooler than the water out of the tep. "'Not 80," said Wayne. The clearness of the water and clarity made me think the water wes coolerl I guess it is not a secret that Wayne-sella me No. 1 stated on the product of al bis produets. This makes me sort 0f a guinea pig but I do feel great satisfac- tion with anything I buy. So Wayne Ieft, with the purifier much to my dismay but he filled the kettie so we could test our morning.tea and it was even greater than usuel. A counter top Orion Ozonetion Water Purifier is more than a simple filter, it actuaily purifies the water making water fromn lakes, taps and weils palatable and safe. It kils -ail bacteria and virus' wbile kiiling and breaking down poilutants and toxins rather then just filtering them out. It does not change the netural minerai content balance or content with the exception of iron. If a water purifier only has acharcoal filter the bacteria grows but with an Ozonation purifier they die. If they are trapped alive they bree-d but if dead this does not bappen. There is no after teste. If chlorine la added to the water It cen be ceiled a poilutant. The Orlon purifier gives weter of equal or superior value et leas than one hundreth'of the cost of bottled value. The purifier la virtuaily maintenance free. For the average family it will provide many years of quelity,- purified drinking water, up to 72 gallons a day. The water cannot be overtreated with this system as it is a naturel process of purifylng water. After ail these years, my husband and I are very discriminating about such things; gimmicks with ail their enticements to buy are not our thing. Sales talk bas no appeal unless backed by honeat and true facts. Another product of Wayne's my husband will In- staîl in minutes next week is an electromce furnace air cleaner which seils for likely a third of the cost of conventional furnace air cleaners. Cost we know does not always deterinine the true value of anything. From air going through the. furnece the filter removes dust, odours, pollen and smoke. The filter can be installed in a matter of minutes without tools by anyone. SWayne's office is in Whitby rather Brooklin where he was formaily located. How very fortunete we are to have Wayne's company, Environimental Elec- tronia in our Town of Whitby. In time which we hope wil be very soon there will be more products, to write about. Ex"iting for us and I hope for ail our readers.
