What anticipation we feit as we drove north on Thickson Rd. and then across to Durham Road 23, which is a lovely route, scenie and neyer too busy. It is almost impossible to pass the ever running stream on the east side of the road with a parking space so you can draw off the land going north, without seeing people filling their vessels. At one point we even saw artie mist something not seen too often around here. To go on or return? A question easily answered. To see or not to see; we chose to return and see. As we drove down we could see a band of liglit to the south far above the lake;. our welcome baek to Whitby. ces fishing is not an interest of ours but we do en- joy seeing ail the activity on the lake.
