The teams included Bayview Heights P.S., Central Park P.S.,. Sun- set Heights P.S., Glengrove P.S., Lake Vista P.S., French- man 's Bay P.S., and Whitby Senior P.S. 1After winning their pool, Whitby Senior defeated Glengrove in the semi-final. then downed Sunset Heights in the final to win the tournament champion- ship. ' This victory capped a very successful season for the young Grade 7 and Grade 8 players. They stand undefeated in match play while postmng an impressive 45 wins toa4 losses record in area competition. The success of the Whitby team is especially significant since 6 to 10 girls are first year players and will be returning next season. The team will con- tinue to play into the new year at invitational tournaments against Midget high school- teams, and. in tour-17 naments hosted by the Ontario Volleyball, Association.
