Whitby Hosts Tournament Tffe Whitby YMCA Badminton Club hosted tbe' Central 'Ontario Badminton Association (COBA) "B" Tour- nament last weekend at Henry Street High Sehool. Ninety-four com- petitors represented 15 clubs from the COBA area which comprises the areas bounded by Kingston, Peter- borough, Uxbridge and Ajax. Sara Houghton and Helen Kwan of Whitby, provided 'the strongest showing from the host club by reaching the finals of the ladies doubles event. Four local high schools, Anderson, O'Neil, Central and Harwood also sent representatives. Local aduit clubs included Whitby, Oshawa Y, Durham Region, Ajax and- Uxbridge.
