Corridor Area Ratepayers Fund-Raising Dance The Corridor Area Ratepayers dance will be held at the Masonlc Hall on Saturday, November 5, from 8:30 p.m. until 1 p.m. The proceeds from the dance Wll be used ta help purchase two blood pressure ap- paratus for the Continuing Care Unit of the Dr. Joseph Ruddy Hospital. Thornton Interested Parents will also have tickets, and the proceeds from their sales will help repair the children's playground at the school. Tickets are $12 a couple for non-members and $10 for paid-up members. Prizes, lunch and a cash bar. Happy half-hour will be from 8 ta 8: 30, when drinks wiIll be half-price. This Is a very busy street, and residents have been requestlng sidewalks for the past three years. Soon it will be safe to walk along Kendalwood's newly created sldewalks. The park in Farewell Estates, (Kendalwood Heights) will be st.arted this fail. There was a problem with the gradlng, but this la now finalized and residents should be able to see progress within the next couple of weeks.
