Pace at DO'C won't let up By COLLEEN CREIGHTON Denis O'Connor HIgh School The month of May means that the school year is almost over - gee, too badi April was a very busy month with Spring Melody, Education Week and much more. Yet, even though the school year is gently coming to a close, the pace here at DO'C shows no sign of letting Up. The girls' soccer tcam began its season with a win in April and continues to do well - the last game against O'Neill ended with a tic. Congratulations girls and keep up the good work. The real interest this past week is intramural basebail. The season began on one of thc loveliest spring days of the year. The first games had Green defeating Red and Yellow defcating Blue. (Way to go Green!1) However, the second games had Yellow defeating Green and Blue defeating Red. (Come on Green, pull up your socks!1) N.B. - If Green House continues to go out, and win, thcy could capture the entire intramural programn. Let's doit!1 May brings Student Coundil elections.
