MY KINGDOM FOR A HORSE There is somethlng to be said for the horse as a means of transportation. He la well made. He la as easy to, start in winter sin summer, and a standard model horse this year looks like a standard model horse of any year. A horse is structurally sound.- He bas botb front and rear-end drive. He has a head and he can lower for refuellng and at the otber end a tail to, keep fies away. He la ruat proof. In fact be even applies bis own new coat. ~True, a horse la not bult for rain. He bas no top. But he la good in any otber weather. He la excellent in snow, neyer skidding. He la strong on bus, espe- cially if you walk. A horse neyer needa bis 011 changed. The motor testlng people neyer reject a borse because bis, eara are too low. Few borses bave to be towed or seek emergency road service from the auto club. You do not need new license plates to attacb to a horse or an insurance policy with or without a deductabllity clause for him. A horse la really a safe, quiet means of transport. I wish Ihad one.
