<Arby' s -opens hiWhitby Mai The fast food outiets of Whitby and the surrounding area have a new competitor with the recent of- ficiai opening of Arby's Roast Beef Restaurant in the Whitby Mail. Mayor Bob Attersley was on hand to eut the ribbon made of 100 $1 bills which were donated by Arby's to the Whitby Senior Citizen's Activity centre. According to a spokes- man for the Durham Re- gional Police Force the sweaters were in a, car parked àt Wiilow Park on Rossland Road be- tween 9:30 and il p.m. on September il. The 18 sweaters belong to a club sponsor- ed by Andrew Antenna piaying in the Whitby Garrard Road Minor, Lacrossè Association. They are red in color and have a roadrunner crest on the front.. Police said that sweaters numbered 1 to 12, 14 tg 17, '19 and 32 were taken. Their value was estimated at $426. The theft was report- ed September 14.
