ANDERSON STUDENTS OFF TO FRANCE Five Anderson Collegiate students will partici- pate in a three-month exchange visit to France. They will leave March 17 and stay until June 17..The Canadian students are not required to return in June and some are planning to spend extra time touring Europe. COMMERCIAL WINGS FOR SHAWN Three. years ago Shawn Majoros of Broadview Avenue, Whitby, received his private pilot's license at the Oshawa Flying Club. Since that time, Shawn has earned his twin engine rating, float and night endorsements and last Saturday evening at the Polish Veteran Hall, Shawn received his Commer- cial Pilot Wings. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Majoros, Shawn is an aeronautical student at Durham College, and was one of the youngest persons to receive this honor Saturday evening. He hopes to carry on with his flying lessons to enable him to earn his instrument rating and on to instructing.
