Romantic duets, light arias and dramatie excerpts from suchi well known operas as "Barber of Seville"., "Carmen", and "La Traviata" are, sure to warm a February even- ing. Tenor soloist will be Mark Dubois, who has made a meteoric rise in opera in North America in the past few years and whose next concert after Oshawa is in the opera house in Milan, Italy. She has had many solo 'appearances in opera in Toronto and other Canadian cities. 1Paul Massel, critie-' ally acclalmed for bis exuberance and Warm baritone voice will be heard in Oshawa for the first time. Massel had the titie role in the Uni- versity of Toronto Opera Division's pro- duction of "M[ýrriage of Figaro" in hie graduat- ing yea-r. He has since been named a recipient of the Tyrone Guthrie Award presented by the Stratford' Festival where he performed in H.M.S. Pinafore, later seen on CBC-TV. Winston Webber, music director and con- ductor, will lead his 60 piece orchestra, includ- ing, in this concert, a harp, in the orchestral music.
