WHITBY FREE PRESS,, WEDNESDAY, DECEMI3ER 2.181 PAGE 19- Whitby Free Press YOUR DINING PLEASURE with 73arry Murkar,*... Threis so mething new at F azio 's Something new in the field of art and the crea- tive will be in the offer- lng late in December at Tino Fazio's restaurant at 133 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa. The combination will include the artistic and creative talent in culinary expertise, a display of art work by local artists, and the ar- tistic talents of musi- cians and singers. Oshawa-born artist Carl Clark explained that the concept was to have a place for local talented artists to dis- play their work. Manon Clark of Creative Management will be in charge of the art gallery. It opens a door for local artists to exhi- bit their work that they otherwise would flot be able to do. The art gallery will be set up in the front area of the restaurant. Tino Fazio now has lUs new menu before the public, and it contains quite a few new items that will further en- hance bis elegant Italian cuisine. In recent weeks Fazio's has been drawing large luncheon and dinner crowds, -and is fast win- ning the reputation of being the best spot in Durham Region for ex- cellent Italian.- food. Added to all this is Tino's desire to provide the very best in enter- tainment for his dinner guests. Jamie Drynan, another Oshawa boy, excellent guitarist and vocalist, will be at Fazio's for the next few weeks. We dined at Fazio 's last week, discussed art with Carl and Manon Clark, fine food with Tino Fazio, and music with Jamie Drynan. Carl Clark bas been a professional artist and selling his work for several years. He ap- preciates the fact that Fazio's will make it possible for talented local artîsts to get their work before the public. Diners will be able to enjoy an excellent meal, stroîl through the gallery and study the work on display, and then sit and enjoy some very fine musical talent. It should promise an ex- citing and different evening out for those who are planning a spe- cial evening with frien- .ds or by themselves. Present plans are aimed at having the new gallery open by mid- December. U S FOR*~ NEW YE 4PJYE Cedricks 173 Brook St. N.
