The Coach House at M3 Dundas Street West, in Whitby Is still one of our favourite dining places. Last week, we made a return visit to titis popular eating spot, and as mlght bave been expected, we found the food and the service to be excellent. Paul Papas and bis brother Jlrn bave been at the Coach House for nearly four years, and durlng that trne bave built up a very large, steady and satlsfied dlientele. Steak or fisb .bave always been tbe choies 1 bad to, make bere, and titis Urne 1 went for the steak, baked potato and Frencht bread. Wben you enter the Coach House, you are ushered to a table with a red t.ablecloth, candie burning and you im- medlately relax in the atmosphere .that surrounds you. For openers, the waitress wWJ bring you a plate of olives and dilll pickles, and then bring a serving of small sausages that are. kept bot over a burning can- die. The whole exper- ience is a delight and the combination of atmo- sphere, excîlent food and good service, leaves you wlth the feeling that you want to return at a very early date. We have visited the Coach Hosme on several Coach House WHITBY FREE PRESS, WEDNESDAY. NOVEMBER 25, 1981,* PAGE 25 The F lig Station occasons, and we must comment on the service; it is excellent. Oh yes, there is one more thing we could mention: each order is cooked to order by Jim Papas and this man ob- viously takes pride in bis cuinary skills. Try the Coach House, youll be glad you did.
