Called "Sensor Supremne" Uhe co-owner of Guido and Dm0o Hair- stylists practically guarantees that it will give the best perm any- where. According to Nick Moscliella, his Byron Street South shop is Uic only one in town to offer this hairstyling technique. "Sensor Supreme," is a combination of chemi- cal and machine tech- nology. "There is no trial and error, " le says. The "Sensor Supreme" mcthod is also more expensive - at Guido and Dino's it costs $60 (although is currently offering a $10 discount) than the regu- lar perm mcthod which costs about $35. According to thc liter- ature accompanying the product, conditions arc "linfuscd"l during both the curling and neutral- izing processes. Moschella says that the main advantage of this system is that the machine controls the amount of heat uscd and when this is couplcd with the chemicals a superior perm is pro- duced. "To mc, it's more superior, " he says. Moschclla adds that other perm chemicals cannot be used with Uic machine and warns con- sumers of poorly donc perms and "cheap" materials.
