Some 200 residents attended the meeting and voiced their disapproval to the apartment project. The original Markborough plan called for 65 cluster single family homes. The Corridor Ratepayers Association has a plan, submitted by Markborough in 1975, showing a cluster develop- ment in Meadowvale, and advising the association the same type of development could be expected here. Residents, purchasing their new homes, were aware of the cluster homes. The thought of 150 apartment units versus 65 singles was an un- pleasant possibility.
