Corridor Capers By MARY McEACHERN I DURHAM-CARPENTRAS EXCHANGE 1981 Eight students from Anderson Colegiate, ahong with Mr. Abrey, their French teacher, will depart via Air France for France on March 21. The students will be guests of a French family for one week, and will tour Paris and vicinity for the second week. On their return home they will host a French student for one week. Excursions such as visiting Niagara Falls, reception and luncheon by the Durham Board of PREiSS Education, C.N. Tower, Eaton Centre, etc. have been plan- ned for our French visitors. The Anderson students will be offering chocolate bars and dried fruit for sale to help offset the cost of entertaining our visitors. Congratulations to the 8 students who have accepted this challenge. The programi should be bath educational and en- joyable for you. Best of Iuck. CORRIDOR CAPERS DANCE The Capers bail on Saturday evening was, once again, a tremnendous suess. The Heydenshore Pavillion was decorated with hearts, accentuating the theme of the dance 'Heart Month'. Lynn Majoros's Grade 4 class at Glenn St. Public School created ail the beautiful decorations. Prizes were generously donated by B. & R. Transport, Consumers Gas, Midas Muffler, K-Mart, Woolco, Mariais Pizza Place, Whitby Mail Fashions, Gerry Emni and Whitby Free Press. Thank you for making theCapers Bail the best. On behaîf 0f the Corridor Ratepayers Association, Lou Majoros presented a cheque to Dolly and George Goddard of the Whitby Heart Foundation.
